Wisdom Konlaa of the International Boy Music Empire won the prestigious awards as The Gospel Artiste of The Year in the 8th Northern Ghana Entertainment Awards (NEA) 2023; the most revered award scheme in Northern Ghana Entertainment Industry.
His win was announced at the awards night which was held in Tamale, Gnat Hall on the 24th of June 2023. Wisdom Konlaa snaked out of three (3) nominees to win The Gospel Artiste of The Year category.
Wisdom Konlaa is an Urban Gospel Artiste from Bunkpurugu who is passionate about his music genre. He has worked tirelessly in recent times to chalk this success story. Wisdom in the last quarter of 2022 released an EP titled “Yadah Daa Be” which is sentimental to the award won. Moreover, he has released a single and featured in AmenEast’s “My Rock” song both in 2023.
Notwithstanding the recent critique of the Sarki hitmaker regarding the resemblance of the NEA’s plaque to that of NEC, NEA still awarded Wisdom Konlaa what he deserved.
