Since 2019, the One Love Entertainment has annually organized Upper Music Awards which is mainly sponsored by Happy Man Bitters produced by charger limited. This particular award scheme is to honor distinguished musicians in the Upper East Region, media personalities and industry players for their contributions to the growth of the music industry in the Upper East Region.
Despite the fact that Happy Man Bitters is an alcoholic beverage and it’s the headline sponsors of the scheme, gospel musicians have received awards from Happy Man Bitters-Upper East Music Awards.
Joseph Atangnaba, a Preacher, an evangelist, a musician and the founder of World Light Outshine; an evangelical movement which aims at bringing light to the world, wrote to advice Christian musicians to refrain from receiving awards from awards schemes sponsored by products that are not in line with the church. He added added that, it will mean those musicians are endorsing the product sponsoring the award scheme so far as they will use your pictures on flyers and banners.
