Fant Moindib is a Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter, praise and worship leader, a broad-spectrum instrumentalist, a writer and a sound engineer based in the Northern part of Ghana. He hails from the Bimoba land, Nakpanduri in the Northeast Region of Ghana. He is a blood brother of renowned man of God Reverend Aaron Lambon Fant, the head pastor of Sanctuary of Wind and Fire Assemblies of God Church in Tamale. Fant Moindib is gracefully married to Franca Winty Fant, and they have been blessed with two (2) lovely kids.
Moindib grew up in Sandema in the Upper East Region where his parents were stationed so he had his basic education from the Sandema Preparatory School and proceeded to Tamale Secondary School for his secondary education. After his successful completion, he advanced to the University of Cape Coast.
Currently, Fant Moindib is the CEO of Glorious Mix Studios and the Music director of sanctuary of Wind and Fire AG Church-Tamale.
He started music at a young age of 12 as the church drummer of Emmanuel Temple Assemblies of God Church in Sandema. Due to his quick adept in the drums, he had the opportunity to play at major programs at Restoration Power Chapel back in the late 90’s and later moved on to play disparate instruments aside drums.
Moindib growing up as the last born of 7 siblings realized all his other siblings were into church activities and music for that matter, He was naturally drawn towards music and had an unusual love for church work. All that while, he felt it was just a passion driven endeavor not until his days in the secondary school when he had mano a mano encounter with the Holy Spirit who opened his eyes to that specific assignment God had and has for him in the music space. The vision and assignment have only gotten clearer by the day.
Moindib has always recounted how God has been gracious by opening doors for him to be taught, guided and mentored by many seasoned ministers in Ghana’s gospel music space. He is one out of the infinitesimal gospel musicians from Northern Ghana to have had a closer association with influential ministers/artists in the gospel and Christian music space in Ghana; the likes of Koda, Rev. Nii Okai, Pastor Eugene Zuta and many others. More especially, Koda has been of immerse influence on his development as a Sound Engineer. Just like Samuel with the ability to hear God’s voice but still required guidance to appreciate that it was God, Koda’s life has been a testimonial encouragement to moindib.
Some young ministers within the Northern Region and in his church have also had the privilege of working with Moindib Fant in his Kingdom’s assignment. He has become a source of consult to these young and upcoming ministers in their music journey and these guys are definitely set for the top.
They are Andy Gospelz, Justein Tehilah, Erd, Wisdom Konlan, Kelly Keyz, Josiah Napari and some others.
“Rev Aaron Lambon Fant is arguably the single person that has had the most impact on my life as a family man and a minister on assignment for God in the music space. He has been an example and extremely supportive. He is always looking for the good in every situation. Words fail me in describing his impact on my life. It cuts across all spheres of my life and I cannot appreciate him enough.” Moindib on the impact of his brother, Rev. Aaron Lambon Fant on his music wayfare.
This Mighty man has written close 20 songs for the melodies of Heaven (the choir of Sanctuary of Wind and Fire Assemblies of God, Tamale), his church choir for worship. He has also written an ample number of songs for other gospel ministers/artists especially in Tamale and the Northern Regions. He released his own song Yahweh, on his personal account in 2017 despite writing for others.
Moindib has written about 10 books on worship and music but 2 of those books have been published; Worship Essentials, forwarded by Rev Aaron Lambon Fant and Spirit of Music, forwarded by Rev. Nii Okai. He has lectured in many music seminars that are related to music and musicians’ development all over Northern Ghana. He is a man filled with the spirit and has ministered in many worship events in Ghana. Moindib Fant has been instrumental in the fast-growing status of the Northern Ghana Gospel music industry.
