Gifty Alale Akutek is a gospel singer who hails from Sakom, a suburb of Zebilla in the Upper East Region but lives, works and undertake most of her music activities in Accra.
She is happily married and blessed with 5 kids.
She started music back in her Secondary School days. She released her first album in 2016 titled “I HAVE A FRIEND”. In 2019, she released a single titled “My Redeemer” then in 2020, she released another hitsong titled “Gurimam” and “l know a Name” respectively. In 2021, she released another hitsong titled “Omaaliya” which is making headways now.
Gifty Akutek won the Gospel Artiste of the year award at the Northern Entertainment Awards (NEA), 2020.
Gifty Akutek has over 20 songs to her credit and currently and she is working tirelessly to release another one for the year 2022.
She organizes a yearly Praise and Thanksgiving program. Last year’s program was successfully organized and held in Zebilla Central Assemblies of God Church on the 2nd of May, 2021.
She is also a proud member of Assemblies of God – Ghana but has joined her husband at the Roman Catholic Church.
Gifty Akutek is the Risk and Research Manager for the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA). She is the Founder of RISK PATHWAY CONSULT.
Gifty Akutek belongs to three (3) Professional bodies namely; Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) – GAFM, Chartered Global Investment Analyst (CGIA) – CGIA and Institute and Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI. She also holds Advanced Specialist Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management.
Academically, Gifty Akutek holds B.Ed in Mathematics, MBA Finance, and MSc. Financial Risk Management and currently pursuing PhD in Management Studies (Finance/Risk Management) at the University of South Africa.
Gifty Akutek is God-fearing and humble but she can be very tough when taken for granted.
She one artist from northern Ghana whose projects have been played on many Television Stations across Ghana. Her songs have been played on stations like Angel TV, Kesben TV, Wontumi TV, Precious Tv and many others.
Her songs are aslo available on all digital platforms.
