Konlaa Wisdom Wayalimba was born to Mr. David Dubique Konlaa and Madam Sarah Naah on 7th October 1994 in the North East Region of Ghana (Bunkpurugu precisely).
Wisdom Konlaa also nicknamed “The International Boy” is an anointed gospel songwriter, singer, rapper, young and the fastest rising Urban Gospel artiste from the Northern part of Ghana making so much impact with his craft.
He lived, schooled and began his music ministry in Tamale.
As he grew up between the ages of five and twelve, he got inspired through listening to Sonnie Okasun (a Nigerian gospel singer of blessed memory) and Ghana’s own Soul Winners but lost his way into circular music as a teenager in Junior High and Senior High School. He recorded and released worldly songs which also led him into living a worldly life.
In the year 2014, after graduating from High School, he set a record by being the first artiste in the whole of West Africa to bring out an educative song on Ebola Awareness with his then self made music label; Wise Music Crew giving him exposure that gained him an interview and video promotions on the famous television channel GTV.
In June 2015, Wisdom Konlaa was then located and changed by grace through visions and prophetic encounters with his family pastor. Same year he blessed and touched many lives with his first gospel single “OKAKA’ featuring Erd and Erika and quickly collaborated with DMLYNX Entertainment in Tamale to launch his first Album “OIL OF FAVOR”. He took the exposure from there, started the year 2016 performing his new gospel songs on platforms he got and also released more gospel singles till he got a two year management contract signed with Tampuri Events (2016-2018) and went Solo to start his own label, Konlaa Ministries and International Boy Music.
The 2019 Northern Entertainment Awards (NEA) Gospel Song of the year award nominee and 2019 Kingdom Honors most patronized Event Award Nominee has two Albums and one EP, five international collaborations, many singles to his credit and an annual event Dubbed “PEACE PRAISE”.
So poised to make a difference in Northern Ghana with Urban Gospel music, he has two young talents signed under his International Boy Music Label who are doing so well already.
Wisdom Konlaa is also a graphics designer, a producer and a Medical Officer with the Ghana Immigration service. He listens to Frank Edwards, Cwesi Oteng, RapNation, Lecrae and also has a mentorship relationship with Obed Psych of Preachers and the Urban Gospel giant, LilZig intown.
