Redemption Singers is the senior choir of the Tamale Central Assemblies of God Church. They handle all the music needs of the church to the best of their abilities.
After years of rehearsing and making melodies to nourish members of their church, the choir has advanced their mantle to weave lyrics and knit it with melody for consumption on the public domain.
The album is a Jesus-agenda. It entails six (6) tracks of the undiluted gospel, in Dagbani, Gurune, Twi and English. These have been judge to have the propensity to shift a listener’s gaze to Jesus. The songs will reveal the boon of Jesus’s fellowship and why he should be the woon.
The synthesis of this album commenced in 2023 and got completed this year (2024): special thanks to the head pastor of the church Rev. Dr & Mrs David Wumbe.
The “We Need Jesus” album was recorded in Tamale at Upright Studio. All six songs were written and arranged by Mr. Joseph Atia, the president of the church’s music department. Gaeten also takes the accolade for the vocal score in the songs.
The album is expected to be launched on Sunday 30th of June 2024, inside the church’s Auditorium in Tamale, behind the Vodafone Ghana-Tamale. The event will start at 9:00am. Be there to support a worthy course.
