Wisdom Konlaa, the International Boy has been nominated to receive awards under four (4) categories in the pioneer edition of the North East Entertainment & Creative Arts Awards 2023. He is one of the persevering artist from the North East Region of Ghana. Wisdom Konlaa is an urban gospel artist who stands in all cases for the genre. He comes from Bunkpurugu. The urban gospel music genre is hardly appreciated but his industrious work has given a face to the particular music branch.
Wisdom has released many singles over the years that has been widely played within Northern Ghana and even outside the Northern territory. He has even featured artist outside the country in some of his projects.
In the last half of 2022, precisely August, he released a ground breaking Extended Play (EP) which embodied sumptuous tracks like “Boys No Dey Hear”, “Yadah Daa Be” and others. This very EP topped the chart of the urban gospel entertainment website, repjesus.com till the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023. Wisdom Konlaa used September 2022 to intensively promote the EP through a radio tour he undertook to four radio stations in Tamale. This EP is the underpinning premise for these four nominations.
