The Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards (HMB-UEMA) has been the leading award scheme in the Upper East Region sponsored by Happy Man Bitters and Beverages. Though criticized in many ways, the scheme is still resolute in achieving their goals.
HMB-UEMA primary over the years have tried to put upper east music on the map by recognizing and appreciating artists in all kinds of music genres who come from the region and other players in the creative art sector.
The HMB-UEMA ’22 which happens to be the 4th edition of the award scheme was launched on 15th October 2022 in the heart of the region, Bolgatanga and the full list of nominees were announced. But for the sake of our purposes, we will update you on the list of artistes who were announced as nominees for gospel related categories. Gospel song of the year and Gospel Artiste of the year.
